The results of the NAACL Board elections are in. Here are the newly elected officers for 2020:
Thanks to Emily Bender, Marie-Catherine de Marneffe, Marilyn Walker and Luke Zettlemoyer, who have finished their service on the NAACL executive board, and to the nominating committee, chaired by Matt Post. Thanks also to everyone who ran or voted in this year’s NAACL Board elections.
Election ballots have been sent to the membership via ElectionRunner.com. Everyone please vote by Dec 18, 2019!
Also, to clarify the ballot message: to avoid any conflict of interest, Emily Bender, NAACL Past Chair, will oversee the election from this point forward.

NAACL is excited to fund a limited number of undergraduate students to attend the two-week summer school at the 2019 Jelinek Summer Workshop on Speech and Language Technology. Apply by Monday, May 6, 2019.
The goal of the NAACL Emerging Regions fund is to assist the creation of a larger and more cohesive Computational Linguistics community in Latin America, and to enhance more regional interactions among students and researchers anywhere in the Americas. The deadline for proposals is 30 April 2019 for events to take place between June 2019 and June 2020.
